Discord remains our main communication channel.
You must remain a member of the official NordFly Group Discord server throughout your membership. Important information is posted there; our primary communication takes place on Discord, not by email.
Freedom is part of NordFly. To make it work for everyone, we need clear standards for our community, communication and flight operations.
NordFly has been built over many years with substantial financial investment, countless working hours and great attention to detail. Ongoing operations also involve real costs for servers, websites, software and high-quality liveries.
We provide all of this to you free of charge – and intend to keep it that way.
Running a virtual airline also involves considerable administrative effort. Our team volunteers its free time without payment. We therefore rely on your active participation as a member of our community.
We expect respectful use of what we provide, open communication, responsiveness, reliability and a degree of commitment to NordFly. Your private life and work always come first. If your interests change, we simply ask you to be honest and transparent.
If you no longer wish to use NordFly, you can easily delete your account through the NordFly Group Installer™. As your Discord account is directly linked to your OperationCenter account, please do not simply leave the Discord server; close your account properly instead.
Discord is our central communication platform throughout your membership. Please check there regularly for news, updates and revised procedures.

Leaving the Discord server causes your account to be deactivated automatically and then processed manually. This avoidable administrative work can lead to a permanent ban from all NordFly Group airlines; a later re-registration may be refused.
These basic rules apply to every NordFly flight submitted. Additional and up-to-date detailed procedures are available in the OperationCenter SOPs.
After registering, and throughout your membership, familiarise yourself with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in the OperationCenter and follow them when flying.

Your aircraft must be at a stand or gate when starting a flight.
Every flight must also end at a gate or stand.

Use up-to-date navigation charts when flying online.
For online flights, submit a fully and correctly completed flight plan on IVAO or VATSIM.

The rules are the binding framework for your membership. If you meet the requirements and share our principles, nothing stands in the way of your first steps.
