Since our founding in 2020, NordFly has never been only about a passion for flight simulation. Above all, it is about being together. Over the years, a lively, helpful and unique community has grown – one we are particularly proud of.

Whether it is a question about flight simulation, a technical challenge or simply a friendly conversation in between, at NordFly there is almost always someone ready to listen or help.
Discord is also the central meeting point for our group flights. We plan, organise, talk and, of course, laugh together. At the same time, our server is the first place for current information, important announcements, upcoming events and news from NordFly.

NordFly organises a real-life airline meetup once a year — something that is exceptional in the world of virtual airlines. While the shared experience at virtual airlines usually takes place in the simulator, on Discord and across online networks, NordFly deliberately brings its community together in real life once every year.
Pilots travel to the meetup, get to know the people behind the names and callsigns in person, and spend a weekend together centred around aviation, community and, of course, NordFly. Online acquaintances become personal encounters — and shared flights often develop into genuine friendships.
That makes our annual airline meetup far more than just an event. It is a special part of our community and something that sets NordFly apart from other virtual airlines.

In 2026, our annual airline meetup brought us to Hamburg. For two days, it was all about what makes NordFly special: shared experiences, aviation up close and, above all, spending time together away from Discord and the simulator.
Airport model exhibition & apron tour
Saturday was all about aviation: we first visited the airport model exhibition together. Afterwards, we joined an apron tour at Hamburg Airport before wrapping up with Coffee to Fly and plenty of time to talk within the community.
Barbecue together
On Saturday evening, we headed to Hagenow together. We rounded off the eventful day with a relaxed barbecue, plenty of conversation, laughter and the sense of community that makes NordFly special.

Planned airline meetup 2027 in Hamburg.
In 2027, we want to bring our community together in person once again. The plan is an August weekend in Hamburg with aviation, shared activities and plenty of time together. The exact date will be announced later — all information about the airline meetup will be shared on Discord and in the OperationCenter.
Arrival, sightseeing flights & dinner together
Anyone who wants to can already arrive on Friday, but accommodation for that night has to be arranged individually. For the afternoon or early evening, sightseeing flights over Hamburg from Uetersen airfield are planned. Afterwards, we will head out for dinner together.
Airbus factory tour & coffee
For Saturday, a factory tour at Airbus in Finkenwerder is planned. There, we will get an exclusive look at Airbus aircraft production. Afterwards, we will meet up once more for coffee and cake.
Barbecue & overnight stay in Hagenow
On Saturday evening, everyone who wants to can continue on to Hagenow to our host Hendrik. There, we will round off the day with a shared barbecue. There is also an option to stay overnight at his guesthouse.
